well, shit.
So, that puts the hurricane overhead just a few hours before crew change. Plus, It's NY, so all the non-planning for bad weather than happens will mean chaos.

Well, at least the NHC's forecasters are saying there's disagreement between their models, so they have low confidence in the forecasted track at this point. Hope springs eternal...
I'm Paul B and I'm a professional mariner and former but still occasionally a marine scientist. From commercial fishing in New England starting from age 8 to crewing on the largest ships in the world, to working on coastwise tugboats and oil barges. I married a Brazilian beauty queen and don't get to see her enough.

Looks like the models show it slowing down and swinging east, Intellicast has the storm at the NC/VA border on Monday and east of NJ on Tuesday AM.
