I - an adult white male over the age of 40 - have a hard time believing that the women shown are actually "Brazilians". None of them appear to be of mixed race and none of them are shown happily fondling large brown men of African descent. Something that appears to be the norm in the Great (Good?) nation of Brazil - an example of where the USA will be in another generation thanks to the Liberal leadership currently at the helm.
Well, Phil, I've got blond hair and blue eyes, can't tan particularly well, and yet my Brazilian wife seems pretty pleased with me. She's from the north, and 50/50 Indio/Italian, so yes, mixed race.
A lot of Germans suddenly decided to visit Brazil and then stayed, right around 1922-44, so there's plenty of Teutonic stock, especially in the south, A large portion of the non-indio population is Portuguese and Italian, and northern Italians do tend towards fair skin and blue eyes, as well, and that particular complexion is considered highly attractive, so, although both traits are recessive, they do survive and you do see kids with pale skin fairly commonly. Hair, of course, can be dyed. So, speaking as someone who is in an interracial marriage, I guess I'm curious as to what's wrong with any of that? Eh, nevermind. I might suggest you take any thoughts regarding eugenics or crying about mixed marriages elsewhere. I got enough shit for that from my more liberal friends back in MA before I walked away from all that shit.
I am Paul B, and I spend most of my life at sea. Ships, Science, the life of a mariner, biology and (mostly) true stories of life among the best and the worst people in the world, the United States Merchant Marines. You'll find it here, maybe. You'll definitely find rants, raves and discussion on life aboard a merchant ship. Come back and see the Brazilian girls, too, who show up fairly regularly.
